Rajkummar Rao-Janhvi Kapoor's ROOHiAFZA's Shoot Begins Today

Rajkumar Rao and Jhanvi Kapoor will be seen sharing screen space in Dinesh Vijan’s next ROOHiAFZA. The film is directed by Hardik Mehta and is co-produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Sing Lamba.
The movie is set in Uttar Pradesh and revolves around fairies, spirits, ghosts attacking grooms on their first night of nuptials. The film that has gone on floors, revolves around a singing ghost who puts grooms to sleep so it can possess the bride. Every time there is a wedding in town, local women come together to keep the groom awake through the first night in a bid to avoid the wrath of the ghost.
Jhanvi Kapoor will be seen playing a double role in the film. She will be seen playing two “poles apart” characters, Roohi and Afsana, and according to Lamba, she will be the perfect fit to play the roles. The two characters are poles apart and you will fall in love with her in scene one and won’t believe she is the same girl in the next one.
Today Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram to share a picture on the sets of the film, to make his fans aware of it. The post read “Karne aa rahe hai attention ko kabsa, aaj se shuru hoti hai RoohiAfza!”
The film is a horror-comedy-based and is set to release on March 20, 2020.
